5 Non-Alcoholic Drinks to Celebrate the Fourth of July
Freedom. At its core, that’s what Americans celebrate on the Fourth of July. No matter what side of the aisle you may sit upon, there’s one thing that Americans can all agree upon, and that’s that our freedom is worth celebrating.
Truly, the Fourth of July celebrations are a quintessential image of the American Dream:
Families gather at dusk, sparklers leaving a trail of light as they dance around under a star-filled sky. Communities coming together, neighbors embracing, as a symphony of fireworks illuminates the night. Friends, family, and even just passersby are invited to barbecues filled with meals as American as, well, apple pie.
The Fourth of July is a day of cheer, but what are you cheersing with? As your cup runneth over with joy on this patriotic holiday, here are some of the best non-alcoholic drinks for the Fourth of July to fill your actual cup with.
Sparkling Raspberry Mocktail

As you break out the sparklers, why not sip on a sparkling zero-proof cocktail to go with them? This recipe comes courtesy of recipe creator Kelsey Sapp from Poofy Cheeks. Simply mix together 12 ounces of raspberry lemonade concentrate and three cups of water. Then, prepare the ice cubes by adding raspberries to the ice cube tray and pouring the raspberry lemonade mixture over them. Let the ice cubes freeze.
When ready, add a handful of the ice cubes to a glass, add about one tablespoon of the raspberry lemonade, and top it off with sparkling grape juice or non-alcoholic sparkling wine, like BEAU VIVA’s sparkling rosé.
4th of July Mocktail

Many Fourth of July mocktails use a lot of artificial colors and dyes, but we love this non-alcoholic drink for the Fourth of July because of its elegance and embrace of more natural flavors. To make this recipe, courtesy of The Jam Jar Kitchen, start by muddling a third cup of fresh mint leaves. Then, add in a half cup of simple syrup, two tablespoons of honey, a quarter cup of fresh lemon juice, and a quarter cup of fresh lime juice.
Top it off with four cups of club soda, bubbly water, or a non-alcoholic sparkling wine like BEAU VIVA’s alcohol-free sparkling rosé. Add in fresh strawberries and blueberries.Peach Tea Sparkling Mocktail
Sweet tea is another classic American staple, and this peach tea sparkling mocktail makes it even more elegant. To make this recipe, courtesy of Floured Flame, start by brewing one bag of peach black tea. Let it cool. Then, combine it with one-and-a-half tablespoons of simple syrup, one tablespoon of fresh lemon juice, and a quarter cup of tonic water. Or skip the tonic water and add in a sparkling wine, like BEAU VIVA’s sparkling rosé, for a unique upgrade.
Non-Alcoholic Aperol Spritz
An Aperol spritz might not be one of the first things that comes to mind when someone thinks of a classic American drink. But America is a melting pot of a million flavors, and the country has fully embraced this beloved Italian favorite. This recipe, hailing from recipe creator Entirely Elizabeth, is a traditional Aperol spritz without the traditional alcohol.
Combine three ounces of non-alcoholic Aperol, one dash of non-alcoholic bitters, and three ounces of a non-alcoholic sparkling wine, like BEAU VIVA’s non-alcoholic rosé. Then, top with one ounce of mineral water, a sprig of thyme, and an orange slice.
Cinderella Mocktail
We can’t guarantee a charming prince will whisk you away from your mean ol’ stepsisters because of this drink, but we can guarantee a celebration of the senses. Whether you’re going to a summer BBQ or a fancy ball, this delightfully citrusy recipe from The Mindful Mocktail fits just right.
To make, first add two tablespoons of freshly squeezed orange juice, two tablespoons of fresh lemon juice, two tablespoons of pineapple juice, and a half-teaspoon of grenadine. Then, shake it all up in a cocktail shaker or stir in a tall glass.
Pour the mixture over ice in a tall glass. Then, add two to three dashes of Angostura bitters and a half cup of soda water or ginger ale. Garnish with oranges, pineapples, and cherries.
